Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a Bolton FMCG business seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their close-knit team. The role covers electrical or mechanical bias with a £42,800 salary and a split shift pattern (days and afters: 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm).

You will react to breakdowns, follow a preventive maintenance schedule, and drive continuous improvement on site. Ideal candidates will have Level 3 in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification, with

Qualifications

• Level 3 in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• PLC experience desired but not essential.
• Team leading experience would place you at the top of the salary band.

Responsabilités

• React to breakdowns on industry-specific equipment.
• Follow the PPM schedule to prevent downtime.
• Adhere to health and safety policies at all times.
• Liaise with production regarding breakdown timescales.
• Drive continuous improvement to prevent future breakdowns.
• Take on projects as required.

Elevation Recruitment Group have the pleasure of working with a FMCG business in Bolton who are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their close team.

Maintenance Engineer (electrical or mechanical bias)

Bolton | £42,800 | Days and Afters (6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm)

Responsibilities of a Maintenance Engineer:

• Reacting to breakdowns on industry specific equipment
• Follow the PPM schedule to prevent downtime on the machinery
• Adhere to the health and safety policies at all times
• Liaise with production in relation to timescales of the breakdowns
• Forward-thinking of continuous improvement on the machinery to prevent future breakdowns
• Projects as and when required

What We're Looking For:

• Level 3 in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering, HNC would be ideal
• Experience of being a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment previously
• Experience with PLC's desired, not essential
• If you have team leading experience this would put you at the top of the salary banding
