Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join its Manchester operation. You will maintain a range of FMCG machinery, perform planned maintenance, and help ensure continuous production in a tightknit team.

The role offers a 6am–3pm day shift, with Sunday mornings worked and a full day off in lieu. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing maintenance and be motivated to progress toward senior engineering roles, with on-the-job training provided for

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining manufacturing machinery in an FMCG environment.
• Ability to perform and understand planned preventive maintenance (PPMs).
• Collaborative team player with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a variety of FMCG machines in the factory.
• Carry out scheduled PPMS to keep equipment in optimal condition.
• Work as part of a tightknit team in a day-based role.
• Adhere to the Monday–Friday 6am–3pm shift with Sunday mornings, with a day off in lieu.

Are you a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer looking to join a tightknit team, working a standard days role with Sunday work that repays with a whole day off, for a company that can offer great opportunities to progress your career into a Senior Engineer?

On offer is the opportunity to work for an established company that produces a wide array of food products, they have recently been acquired by a large multinational that are invested in improving the company.

The role will revolve around the maintenance of manufacturing machinery in the factory, carrying out planed preventative and breakdown maintenance to ensure the continued operation of machinery. The company will train you on their FMCG and other specialist machinery.

This role would suit a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer who is looking to work for an establish company who have recently been acquired and looking to expand their team and can provide a days based role with training and career progression.
