Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Stockport. The role covers electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and performing planned preventive maintenance within a busy FMCG manufacturing site.

The ideal candidate is apprentice-trained in Electrical Engineering with hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory.
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and faults.

• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure uptime.

Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Stockport

Salary: £58,000

Shift: 12 hour days and Nights

Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

A superb opportunity has arisen for a Apprentice Trained Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a supportive and collaborative engineering team within a busy FMCG manufacturing site. The Multi skilled Engineer will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance and supporting continuous improvement intiatives across site machinery. Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.

Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Must be Apprentice Trained in Electrical Engineering
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Apprentice Trained in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with working on PLC’s, ideally being able to fault find using inputs and outputs
