Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group has partnered with a Scunthorpe-based FMCG client to recruit a Maintenance Engineer (electrical or mechanical bias). The role offers 22 days holiday, overtime at time and a half, and a family feel culture with breaks including free products.

The ideal candidate will have Level 3 in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (HNC preferred) and prior maintenance experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (HNC preferred).
• Experience as Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing.
• PLC experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• React to breakdowns on industry-specific equipment.
• Follow the PPM schedule to prevent downtime on the machinery.
• Adhere to health and safety policies at all times.
• Liaise with production in relation to breakdown timescales.
• Drive continuous improvement on the machinery to prevent future breakdowns.
• Support projects as and when required.

Elevation Recruitment Group have the pleasure of working with an FMCG client in the Scunthorpe area who are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their close-knit team.

Responsibilities of a Maintenance Engineer:

• React to breakdowns on industry-specific equipment
• Follow the PPM schedule to prevent downtime on the machinery
• Adhere to health and safety policies at all times
• Liaise with production in relation to breakdown timescales
• Drive continuous improvement on the machinery to prevent future breakdowns
• Support projects as and when required

What We're Looking For:

• Level 3 in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, HNC would be ideal
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with PLCs is desirable but not essential
• Team leading experience would put you at the top of the salary banding
