Job summary

The Guinness Partnership is seeking a Multi Skilled Joiner to join the Empty Homes Team, covering Sheffield and surrounding areas. The role is permanent, 40 hours weekly, 8am–7pm Mon-Fri with Saturday mornings on a rota. You will be involved in repairs, basic damp/mould work, and other multi-trade tasks in residents' homes.

A full UK driving licence is essential, as is a basic DBS check. You may be part of an out-of-hours rota with additional pay.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate competence within primary trade; carry out multi-trade tasks (plumbing, tiling, joinery, groundwork, mould washes/treatment, flooring).
• Experience in customer-focused social housing environment preferred.
• Must hold full UK driving licence and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and general multi-trade tasks in empty homes.
• Work to targets and follow procedures, accurately recording information.
• Participate in out-of-hours callout rota and rota-based weekend shifts.
