Job summary

The Guinness Partnership is seeking an Advanced Electrician to join the Empty Homes Team covering Sheffield and surrounding areas. This is a permanent, full-time role (40 hours) with 8am–7pm hours, Monday to Friday, plus occasional Saturday mornings on a rota and an out-of-hours rota with additional pay.

Applicants must live near Sheffield, hold a UK driving licence, and have a basic DBS check paid for by the employer.

Qualifications

• Certificated Electrician qualifications and experience in domestic and commercial electrical works.
• Knowledge of electrical fixed wire testing up to 230v/415v and associated testing procedures.
• Ability to correctly complete certifications, follow procedures and record data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Conduct domestic and commercial electrical works to required standards.
• Perform electrical testing and inspection following regulations.
• Maintain records and complete certifications and drawings as required.
• Work in a customer-focused environment meeting performance targets.
