Job summary

Northumberland County Council in Morpeth, ENG, GB is looking for a Joiner to join a small team delivering repairs and maintaining social housing stock. The role covers kitchens, doors, flooring, cladding, and related joinery tasks, with emphasis on working safely at height and within health and safety policies.

This full-time, on-site position offers career growth opportunities, 26 days leave plus holidays, and LGPS, with pro-rated extras for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Experience of working as a Joiner in the building trade across joinery.
• Social landlord/ housing association experience desirable.
• Associated trade skills of plaster patching, minor plumbing works tiling etc.
• Experience delivering multi-trade work.
• Full clean driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• General repairs and maintenance to housing stock, including kitchens, doors, fencing, skirting architrave, repairing changing locks to doors and windows, cladding, facias soffits, flooring including joists, garage doors, bath panels & associated boxings.
