Job summary

Your Housing Group is looking for a Multi Skilled Joiner to join the Empty Homes Repairs team across Merseyside, Wigan, Warrington and surrounding areas. You will carry out joinery repairs and replacements in empty properties, delivering high-quality workmanship with safety and customer care at the forefront.

Ideally you live near your regional area, hold an NVQ Level 3 in Joinery, a full UK driving licence, and have housing sector experience.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent recognised joinery qualification.
• Experience in housing sector repairs is desirable.
• Basic health and safety knowledge.
• Full UK Driving Licence (ideally ≤6 points).
• Collaborative team player with strong customer service.

Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Joiner to join Your Housing Groups Repairs and Maintenance Division in the Empty Homes Team and provide a high-quality Joinery and associated repair and replacement service throughout Merseyside /Wigan and Warrington and the surrounding areas. Although we try to base our operatives closest to their home location it may still be required for you to travel to other locations due to business requirements. Ideally, you will live within or close to your regional area of work and be based within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Birchwood, Warrington to attend meetings and training courses when needed. What will I be responsible for doing? First and foremost, working as part of the Empty Homes repairs division, you will undertake repairs and maintenance in our empty properties. You'll be performing a vital Joinery role inside these properties ensuring that all Joinery works required are completed to the highest standards. You will be confident and capable, ensuring all work undertaken is completed with due regard for quality, productivity, and safety. Our organisation is all about people, especially the people who live in our homes and the communities that we serve and deliver excellent customer service too, so ideally you will be personable, professional, and able to understand the differing needs of the customers in our communities, tailoring your approach to meet that requirement to deliver a bespoke service. • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent recognised competency/qualification within the Joinery field
• Experience of undertaking additional repairs and maintenance outside of a Joinery skill set Experience of working as an Joiner within the housing sector would be of real interest.
• You will have basic health and safety knowledge in a repair's environment.
• You will have a full UK Driving License (ideally no more than 6 points)
