Job summary

Build Recruitment is seeking a Multi Skilled Operative to join a social housing repairs team on a 12 week temporary to permanent basis. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance in voids and tenanted properties, primarily in Knowsley, with occasional work in Salford.

Candidates with experience in wet rooms, bathrooms and kitchens are preferred. Duties include kitchen, bathroom and wet room replacements; joinery (UPVC doors & windows, internal doors & frames); plastering; tiling;

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing repairs.
• NVQ2 or equivalent qualification.
• Full UK driving licence (preferably clean).
• Experience with wet rooms, bathrooms and kitchens.

Responsibilities

• Kitchen, bathroom & wet room replacements.

• Plastering - patch plastering, damp repairs, full room plastering.

Multi Skilled Joiner Knowsley

At Build Recruitment, we work exclusively with built environment specialists around the UK.

Our client is looking for Multi Skilled Operatives to join their team on a 12 week temporary to permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be working on their Social Housing Repairs contracts and carrying out planned and reactive maintenance in both voids and tenanted properties. You will mainly working in the Knowsley contracts but will occasionally be working on the Salford contracts. They are looking for a Multi-Trade Operative candidates with experience working on wet rooms, bathrooms and kitchens.

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in as many of the below duty areas:

• Kitchen, bathroom & wet room replacements
• Joinery - UPVC doors & windows, Internal doors & frames, Skirting & architrave etc
• Plastering - Patch Plastering, Damp repairs, full room plastering
• Tiling Screed & vinyl tiles, Ceramic Wall Tiling
• Hold a relevant trades qualification (NVQ2 or equivalent)
• Hold a full UK Driving Licence (preferably clean)
• Have experience in Social Housing Repairs

Pay rate - £21PH CIS (First 12 weeks) based on a 40 hour week.

Salary after 12 weeks - £34,000 per annum.
