Job summary

Bedspace is seeking a Multi-Skilled Property Maintenance Operative to maintain and prepare our supported housing across the Liverpool region. You’ll handle general repairs, decorating, basic plumbing, joinery and safety checks, ensuring homes are safe, clean and welcoming for service users.

With a minimum of 3 years in property maintenance, a full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel, you will join a team dedicated to high-quality housing and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining residential properties across multiple trades.
• Able to carry out repairs rather than specialist trades.
• You take pride in your work and leave properties clean, safe and welcoming.

Responsibilities

• General property repairs and maintenance
• Preparing empty homes for new service users
• Painting and decorating
• Basic plumbing, joinery and electrical repairs (within competency)
• Replacing locks, patch plastering and general repairs
• Fire safety maintenance and property inspections
• Gardening and external maintenance
• Providing excellent customer service when visiting occupied homes
