Job summary

Broxtowe Borough Council is seeking a Multi Skilled Gas Operative to undertake domestic gas servicing and maintenance across its stock from the Beeston offices. You will diagnose faults, use data recording equipment, and contribute to high customer care standards.

Applicants should be ACS qualified (CCN1, CEN1, CPA1, WAT1, HTR1, CKR1) and Gas Safe registered, with knowledge of Worcester boilers advantageous; a City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 or craft apprenticeship is required.

Qualifications

• ACS qualified with minimum CCN1, CEN1, CPA1, WAT1, HTR1 and CKR1.
• Gas Safety (installation and Use) Regulations 1998 knowledge.
• Experience with domestic gas servicing and fault finding.

Responsibilities

• Carry out domestic gas servicing and maintenance across stock.
• Diagnose faults and fix problems promptly.
• Utilise data recording and analysis equipment.
• Competently service Worcester boilers where possible.
• Collaborate to achieve right-first-time targets.
