Multi Skilled Engineer - HVAC, Preston, Lancashire

We are seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer with an HVAC focus to provide high-quality building maintenance support to our clients in Preston, Lancashire. The role involves supervising contractors, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining building assets in accordance with safety and operational standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Small Refrigeration
• City & Guilds Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (7189) Level 2 or 3
• City & Guilds Refrigeration, Air-conditioning, and Heat Pump Systems (6090) Level 3
• F-Gas Category 1 (City & Guilds 2079)

Additional Requirements:

• Flexible approach to work and hours (subject to EU Working Time Directive)
• Ability to undertake maintenance and installation tasks as per contractual scope
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and building statutory compliance
• Physical ability to carry tools up to 20kg, work at heights, and ascend/descend vertical access equipment
• Full UK driving license

Responsibilities:

• Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
• Ensure all assets are maintained according to O&M manuals and safety standards
• Record work accurately and complete all assigned duties
• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment for equipment and staff
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure compliance with all safety legislation
