Job summary

Emtec Group is seeking a proactive Multi-Skilled Engineer to support clients across Glasgow and surrounding areas. You will perform both planned preventative maintenance and reactive work across electrical, mechanical, HVAC and gas systems at various client sites, ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires 18th edition, commercial Gas and AC qualifications, a full UK driving licence, and a positive, solutions‑focused attitude.

Qualifications

• 18th edition, commercial Gas and AC qualifications with commercial experience in the facility services sector.
• Comfortable working at height, in confined spaces, and undertaking manual handling tasks.
• Willingness to participate in the on‑call rota.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Self‑motivated with a positive attitude and a focus on finding solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC and Gas.
• Respond to reactive callouts, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Provide quotations for repairs and minor works when required.
• Work safely in line with Health & Safety regulations.
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams including the Contract Manager, Supervisor, Helpdesk, and Engineers.
• Keep up to date with industry standards and best practices.
