Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Glasgow is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to join the Global Workplace Solutions team. You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance of plant, equipment and building services on site in Glasgow.

The role involves risk assessment, updating drawings, managing the preventative maintenance programme, fault finding on three-phase systems up to 440V, and supervising contractors. A recognised apprenticeship and strong maintenance experience are essential.

Qualifications

• A recognised or time served apprenticeship
• Strong proven experience in manufacturing maintenance
• Electrical competences to City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2, 17th Edition
• Mechanical competences to City and Guilds standard
• Good multi-skilled ability
• Experience on 3 phase motors, drives and inverters
• Hydraulic / Pneumatic experience
• Ability to fault find
• PLC diagnostics / repair competencies
• NVQ Level 2 Electrical & Mechanical
• Ability to supervise contractors
• Ability to write Risk and Method Statements

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on plant, equipment and building services
• Identify and manage risks to the client; update drawings and plan preventive maintenance
• Fault finding on various machinery and three-phase systems up to 440V
• Support Health and Safety within the department
• Liaise with onsite Site Services for building services issues
• Supervise contractors and deputise for the Shift Leader as required
• Complete required documentation in line with rules and legislation
• Use CAFM systems to plan and record works
