Mitie Group plc. is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Operative to support planned and reactive electrical maintenance at Barnsley Blood Centre. You will help ensure critical facilities remain safe, compliant and operational as part of a professional team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance, repairs and minor installations across the site.

• Assist with wiring, calibration and alignment tasks while using appropriate tools and test equipment.
• Follow safe systems of work, including lock-off/tag-off procedures, and maintain compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, support housekeeping standards and actively participate in toolbox talks and site safety initiatives.
• Proven knowledge of electrical systems, plant and control equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and maintenance procedures.
