Job summary

Swift Temps Ltd is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong electrical bias for roles in Grassington & Keighley. You will perform planned maintenance, fault finding, repairs and improvements across plant, machinery and services while supporting new equipment installations and improvements.

The ideal candidate has a formal electrical qualification, PLC fault finding and programming experience, and at least five years in manufacturing, including FMCG environments.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering qualification - NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Proven Multi-Skilled Engineer with strong electrical bias.
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience in PLC fault finding, repair and programming.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in FMCG/manufacturing environment.
• Experience with automated electro-mechanical systems.
• Minimum of 5 years' manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance and respond to equipment faults.
• Maintain, repair and improve plant, machinery and site services.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults.
• Install and commission new equipment.
• Support engineering and continuous improvement projects.

Salary: £21.26 per hour - £53,000

Hours: 48 hours per week, working over 4 days

Holiday: 24 days annual leave

THE ROLE

SWIFT Temps Ltd is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, local family-run business for a Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong electrical background.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planned maintenance, fault finding, repairs and improvements across plant, machinery and services, while also supporting the installation and commissioning of new equipment and improvement projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate will have:
