Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We're working with a leading manufacturing business seeking a proactive and hands-on Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong electrical background and solid mechanical skills to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.

The role is shift-based (4 on 4 off), covering rotating 12-hour shifts including early, late, and peak-period rotations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal machine uptime.
  • Diagnose faults and breakdowns quickly using strong fault-finding techniques.
  • Collaborate with production teams to plan downtime for servicing and repairs.
  • Maintain critical spare parts inventory and manage part orders for maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with H&S regulations.
  • Support with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Continuously seek process improvements to minimise downtime and reduce costs.
