Job summary

Kudos is seeking a highly competent Multi-skilled Engineer to join the South team on a full-time basis. The role covers sites across Kudos' 17-site portfolio, in and around the London Area, completing assigned PPM tasks and delivering reactive maintenance to contractual standards.

The ideal candidate will be multi-skilled with mechanical or electrical bias, preferably with healthcare experience. NVQ Level 3, HTM/AP training and health & safety certifications are desirable; IOSH/NEBOSH

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in specialist discipline to current regulations (e.g. 18th Edition).
• IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent is highly desirable.
• IPAF / PASMA would be beneficial.
• Legionella Awareness.
• Any HTM or AP training would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Carry out defined PPM tasks across Kudos' site portfolio and ensure timely completion with proper record keeping.
• Provide reactive maintenance to required standards within contractual obligations.
• Work with Health & Safety teams to ensure compliance with regulations, RAMS and permits.
• Update and close tasks in real time using the tablet provided.

Kudos is a well established Facilities Management company working within the Healthcare Sector to deliver a high-quality Facilities Management service to its client, and is looking to hire a highly competent Multi-skilled Engineer to join the South team on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will be multi-skilled with either Mechanical or Electrical bias and preferably have experience in working within a Healthcare environment, plus:

• NVQ Level 3 in specialist discipline, to current regulations (e.g. 18th Edition)
• IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent is highly desirable
• IPAF / PASMA would be beneficial
• Legionella Awareness
• Any HTM or AP training would be beneficial
• The technical ability to fault find, problem solve and diagnose issues
• A flexible, proactive and adaptable approach, willing to seek and suggest solutions

The Role

This role will be based across a number of sites within Kudos' 17 site portfolio, in and around the London Area. The individual will be responsible for the completion of assigned PPM tasks, ensuring these are completed on time with adequate record keeping, and the delivery of Reactive Maintenance to the required standard within the contractual obligations.

Duties of the role include:

• Working with H&S compliance teams to ensure compliance with all Health and Safety Regulations, Statutory Obligations, HTM requirements, RAMS and Permits are fully observed, managed, and always adhered to
• Awareness of Statutory Compliance requirements in line with HTM / Industry Standards
• Provide RP/AP/CP duties as necessary as part of the Operational team for controlled specialist electrical system to include but not limited to - HV, LV, Lifts, Emergency lighting systems, Data systems, Fire alarm systems
• To deliver mechanical, electrical and fabric PPM in accordance with the relevant guidelines and service levels, for example, SFG20 HTM aligned
• To carry out Reactive Maintenance duties assigned by the Helpdesk, paying attention to contractual parameters and timeframes
• To update and close tasks out in real time using the tablet provided
