We are recruiting a Multi-Skilled Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical) to join our Estates team.This post operates as the technical expert within the engineering function, providing advanced diagnostic, resolution, audit, and remedial expertise across complex mechanical and electrical systems in a live healthcare environment.
You will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and continuous operation of essential hospital services, leading on fault diagnosis, technical resolution, compliance auditing, and corrective remedial works across high-risk and business-critical infrastructure. This is a hands-on specialist role, requiring technical expertise rather than general maintenance support.
The shifts for the role are 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday - Friday. This is a mobile role, whereby you will be based in Kent and Canterbury Hospital, but will have access to a company vehicle to travel to our Dover Buckland and Folkestone sites as required.
You will be a highly skilled mechanical or electrical engineering specialist, with a strong track record in diagnosis, resolution, audit, and remedial delivery within complex, safety-critical environments.You will be comfortable operating autonomously while acting as a trusted technical advisor to others.
