Job summary

Facade Today is looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our Facilities Management team based at Oaks Park High School, Newbury Park. This role is essential for ensuring our buildings remain safe and functional, with a collaborative environment for your technical skills.

You'll be responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, as well as documentation and emergency support. Candidates should have solid experience in building maintenance and hold relevant electrical qualifications.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience in building maintenance with relevant electrical qualifications.
  • Passion for delivering excellent service with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in various systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
  • Perform minor installations and refurbishments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities.
  • Participate in a 1-in-3 week on-call rota for emergency support.

Job description

We're looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our Facilities Management team based in Oaks Park High School, Newbury Park.

Location: Oaks Park High School, Newbury Park

Hours: 40 hours per week

As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you'll play an essential role in ensuring our buildings remain safe, functional and welcoming. You'll be primarily based at Oaks Park High School while providing support to our Greenwich Care Homes as needed. This permanent position offers a collaborative environment where your technical expertise will be valued and nurtured.

What will you be responsible for?
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and compliance tasks including Legionella testing
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults across electrical, plumbing, HVAC and building fabric systems
  • Performing minor installation works, refurbishment and system adjustments
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and records of all maintenance activities
  • Participating in a 1-in-3 week on-call rota to provide essential emergency support
