Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer for a commercial site in Canary Wharf, London. Immediate start available to perform planned and reactive maintenance on building services, working with the maintenance team to ensure operational reliability.

The role requires electrical or mechanical qualifications and experience in commercial building maintenance. Training will cover BMS, AHUs, pumps, and testing regimes, with CAFM documentation used for all tasks.

Qualifications

• Electrically or mechanically qualified – City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or above.
• 18th Edition desirable for electrically biased candidates.
• Proven experience within commercial building maintenance.
• Multi-skilled building services experience.
• Strong electrical or mechanical maintenance.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on building services alongside the maintenance team.
• Cover a commercial site in Canary Wharf, London.
• Operate and monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and control systems.
• Record maintenance tasks and inspections via CAFM and paperwork.

Multi-Skilled Engineer - Commercial Building - Canary Wharf, London - Immediate start - £33 Per Hour

An exciting immediate opportunity to join an established building services company based in Canary Wharf, London. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting a Multi-Skilled Engineer to cover a commercial site. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team.

Hours of work

• 4 on 4 off continental shift - days / nights


• 08:00am to 20:00pm / 20:00pm to 08:00am


• Contract type: temp to perm


• Building Management Systems (BMS)


• Control systems


• Air conditioning systems


• Chillers – wet and dry systems


• Air Handling Units (AHUs)


• Heating systems


• Pumps


• Single-phase and three-phase motors


• Emergency lighting – recording of testing


• Fire and life safety systems – recording of testing


• Plumbing and sanitary ware


• Water treatment, including cooling towers and pool plant operation


• Maintenance and recording of all PPM tasks (statutory or otherwise) via paperwork and CAFM
