Job summary

Eko Talent is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a day shift role in a UK manufacturing site. You will join a stable, growing business and help maintain production equipment to keep lines running safely and efficiently.

As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you’ll perform planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and work with the engineering team to drive improvements, overseeing conveyors, robotics, and automated lines while ensuring accurate maintenance records and effective changes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across production machinery.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Diagnose faults using a systematic approach and implement effective repairs.
• Maintain and repair conveyors, robotics, automated production lines, and associated machinery.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are accurately recorded and follow-up actions are completed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase reliability, efficiency, quality, and safety across the site.
• Work collaboratively with production teams to resolve equipment issues and optimise machine performance.
• Assist with machine changeovers, installations, and commissioning of new equipment where required.

The Role

As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. Working closely with production and the wider engineering team, you'll carry out planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and identify opportunities to improve equipment performance.
