Job summary

Bowmay Consulting is seeking a Multiskilled Engineer in the United Kingdom. The role offers exposure to a wide range of machinery and opportunities to contribute to improvements, upgrades and commissioning projects.

You will work across mechanical and electrical systems, performing planned and reactive maintenance while driving reliability and uptime across the plant.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification such as HNC, HND, BTEC or equivalent.
• Experience working within an industrial or engineering environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Excellent root cause analysis and problem-solving to identify underlying causes.
• Experience using CMMS, SAP and Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Ability to work a rotating shift pattern, covering both days and nights.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across a varied range of machinery and equipment.
• Respond to mechanical and electrical breakdowns, diagnose faults and complete repairs quickly and safely.
• Use fault-finding and root cause analysis to identify recurring issues and improve equipment reliability.
• Get involved in improvement projects, equipment upgrades, installations and commissioning of new machinery.
• Help improve maintenance standards, equipment availability and overall plant performance.

About You
