Job summary

Elate Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Assembly Operative in Chesterfield, Derbyshire for a full-time, permanent role at a brand-new, state-of-the-art production facility. You will assemble fire doorsets to certified specifications, read technical drawings, and maintain high quality throughout the manufacturing process, with overtime opportunities and a company pension and holidays.

Salary: £34,000 - £42,000 DOE + Overtime + Benefits

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading UK manufacturer that is investing heavily in a brand-new, state-of-the-art production facility. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business manufacturing high-quality, life-safety products in a modern, well-equipped environment.

The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Assembly Operative, you'll assemble premium fire doorsets to certified specifications, working from technical drawings and ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and finish fire doorsets to specification.
• Read and work from technical drawings.
• Prepare and machine timber and composite components.
• Fit ironmongery, locks, hinges and seals.
• Carry out quality checks throughout production.

About You

You'll ideally have:

• Experience in bench joinery, cabinet making, shopfitting, door or window manufacturing, or a similar assembly role.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
• Experience reading technical drawings.
• Fire door manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential.
