Platform Housing Group is seeking a Multi-skill Trades Operative with carpentry as the focus to join our Platform Property Care team. You will deliver multi-trade repairs in customers' homes across Worcestershire, working to right-first-time standards in a mobile role supported by a van and tools.

You should be qualified in Carpentry (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) and have experience across Plumbing, Flooring, Plastering, Tiling and Decoration. A valid driving licence is essential.

Multi-skill Trades - Operative/ Carpenter

Platform Property Care are looking for an experienced Multi Skill Trades Carpenter to join our talented Responsive Repairs team covering Worcestershire to help us ensure our customer's homes are maintained to a high-quality standard.

You will be a Multi Skill Trades Operative and carpentry will be your focus, but experience in other trades is essential, as you will be delivering Multi Trade repairs within a responsive repairs environment.

The role is varied. No two days will be the same and you will meet a wide range of customers along the way. It's a tough task and our expectations are high. In return, you'll have the support of a great team.

We want somebody who can:

A team player, you'll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You'll be working in people's homes, so you'll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication skills.You'll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering good customer service.You will also own the work issued and be focused on Right First-Time delivery.

Some things we need from you:

You will be qualified in Carpentry with associated trade skills of Plumbing, Flooring, Plastering, Tiling and Decoration

You'll have the ability to demonstrate an expertise in these trades and be able to deliver and resolve a repair job from start to finish.

-Experience of delivering Multi Trade work,

-You will be qualified to at least NVQ L2 Carpentry

-Experience of working as a Multi-skill Trades Operative in the building trade

-Experience of working for a Social Landlord, housing association or council, delivering multi trade repairs and maintenance

-Associated trade skills, and or qualifications in plumbing, plaster patching, decorating and wall tiling.

-You will have good organisational skillsand experience of keeping jobs on track

-And the personal drive to ensure works are completed quickly, efficiently and delivered right first time

-A full driving licence is essential as this is a mobile role, a van with fuel card is provided

-As you will be working within Customers' homes this role requires a DBS check.

There is also the opportunity to earn additional from being on the out of hours rota as required.

This role is for a team covering Worcestershire so you will need to live here.
