Job summary

Platform Property Care, part of Platform Housing Group, is seeking an experienced Multi Skill Trades Plumber to join the Responsive Repairs team. The role covers Worcestershire and Oxfordshire, focusing on plumbing while delivering multi-trade repairs in customers' homes.

You will work in a mobile, field-based capacity with a supportive team, holding a full driving licence and DBS clearance. A basic salary is offered with overtime and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience of working as a Plumber in the building trade or as a multi-skilled Plumber.
• Experience delivering multi-trade repairs in a social housing or council setting.
• Having related trade skills (carpentry, plaster patching, decorating, tiling) is desirable.
• Able to deliver multi-trade work and keep jobs on track.
• Good IT skills, comfortable with PDA and Outlook.
• Hold a full current driving licence; role is mobile.
• DBS check required due to working in customers' homes.

Platform Property Care are looking for an experienced Multi Skill Trades Plumber to join our talented Responsive Repairs team covering Worcestershire and Oxfordshire to help us ensure our customer's homes are maintained to a high-quality standard.

You will be a Multi Skill Trades Operative and plumbing will be your focus, but experience in other trades is essential, as you will be delivering Multi Trade repairs within a responsive repairs environment.

The role is varied. No two days will be the same and you will meet a wide range of customers along the way. It's a tough task and our expectations are high. In return, you'll have the support of a great team.

We want somebody who can:

A team player, you'll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You'll be working in people's homes, so you'll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication and customer service skills. You'll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering work right first time.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience of working as a Plumber in the building trade either as a Plumber or as a multi-skilled Plumber
• Experience of working for a Social Landlord, housing association or council, delivering multi trade repairs and maintenance
• Associated trade skills, and or qualifications in carpentry, plaster patching, decorating and wall tiling would also be desirable.
• Experience of delivering multi-trade work
• Good organisational skills
• Experience of keeping jobs on track
• The drive to ensure works are completed quickly and efficiently.
• Good IT Skills. Experienced using a PDA. Experience of using Microsoft and Outlook email.
• Full current valid driving Licenceessential as this is a mobile role.
• As you will be working within Customer's homes this role requires a DBS check.

There is also the opportunity to earn additional from being on the out of hours rota, which is required.

This role is for a team covering repairs in Worcestershire and Oxfordshire so you will need to live in this area.
