Job summary

D R Newitt & Associates is recruiting a Technical Manager / Quality, Compliance & Systems Manager to lead the technical team across two sites. The role focuses on delivering robust quality systems, certifications and process improvements to support sustainable growth.

You will base in South Wales / Bristol / Herefordshire / Worcestershire and split time between sites, combining hands-on leadership with strategic oversight of BRC, ISO9001, ISO14001 and related audits.

Qualifications

• Ideally degree qualified with experience in packaging/manufacturing.
• Proven leadership of technical teams across multiple sites.
• Experience maintaining BRC, ISO9001, ISO14001, BS8555 accreditations and audits.
• Strong collaboration with Sales, Manufacturing, Customers and Sourcing.
• Skilled in investigations, reporting and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Led and develop the technical team for both sites.
• Lead, manage and maintain BRC, ISO9001, ISO14001, BS8555 accreditations and audits.
• Partner with Sales, Manufacturing, Customers, and Material Sourcing to drive innovation and cost reduction.
• Lead technical investigations.
• Generate and communicate regular technical activity reports with recommendations.
