Birch Wood School is seeking a visionary Head of Birchwood College to provide visible leadership across three sites and translate strategic priorities into everyday practice, ensuring outstanding teaching and safeguarding.

Reporting to the Head of School, you will oversee operations, curriculum progression, admissions and partnerships, while maintaining high expectations and a nurturing SEND community across Birch Wood Vale, Ashton House and Birch Wood College.

Qualifikationen

• Experienced senior leader with an ability to oversee complex school operations.
• Proven capability to manage staffing, HR processes, attendance systems and daily routines in a busy environment.
• Strong record of coordinating practice across multiple sites and driving improvement.
• Values-driven, emotionally intelligent leadership committed to SEND.
• Willingness to lead Birch Wood Vale, Ashton House and Birch Wood College into the future.

Aufgaben

• Provide strong, visible leadership across three sites.
• Coordinate daily operations, staffing and routines.
• Support curriculum delivery to GCSEs and meaningful qualifications.
• Champion safeguarding, wellbeing and DDSL responsibilities.
• Oversee admissions, transitions and external partnerships.
• Monitor progress, attendance and behaviour; inform school development planning.
