Job summary

Writhlington School is seeking a dynamic Chef Hub Manager to lead the kitchen team and oversee multi-school catering production within the Trust. You will drive high standards on site and supervise daily meal prep and dispatch, ensuring nutritious, compliant menus and excellent customer service across sites.

The role emphasizes substantial leadership responsibilities, adherence to food safety regulations, and financial stewardship, with opportunities for staff development and career progression

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience at Head Chef level or equivalent.
• Relevant professional qualifications listed (City & Guilds 706/1 & 2, or NVQ Level 2/3).
• Experience in multi-site school catering is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and inspire the kitchen and catering team.
• Oversee daily preparation, cooking and dispatch of meals across multiple sites.
• Deliver a catering strategy aligned with scheme requirements and ensure excellent customer service.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards in line with HACCP and COSHH.
• Manage budgets, stock, and order supplies; conduct monthly stock checks.
