Job summary

Midsomer Norton Schools' Partnership is seeking an experienced Catering Operations Manager to support the delivery of high-quality, nutritious school meals across Bath, Midsomer Norton and Radstock with regular travel between Trust schools.

You will work alongside the Head of Catering to ensure menus are delivered to a high standard, staff are trained, and kitchens maintain excellent food safety and hygiene practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial or large-scale catering environment.
• Excellent knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety and HACCP procedures.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Organisational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Catering in developing and delivering nutritious, cost-effective menus across Trust schools.
• Train and support kitchen teams in food preparation, presentation and portion control.
• Ensure HACCP, COSHH and hygiene standards are maintained across all kitchens.
• Provide operational kitchen cover and coordinate staffing across sites.
• Lead on staff development and contribute to theatre and events catering as needed.
