Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to oversee multi-site operations near Yeovil and surrounding depots. You will drive safe, efficient production, manage planning, and coordinate with the Production Director.

The role requires 3–5+ years in operations management, strong leadership, and knowledge of HSE. Benefits include pension, 29 days holiday, and on-site parking. Monday to Friday 7:30/8am to 5pm.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years' experience in operations or production management, preferably in waste management or industrial services.
• Strong leadership and communication with ability to develop teams.
• Solid technical understanding of production processes and site operations.
• HSE and environmental compliance knowledge.
• Experience with MS Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations across multiple sites.
• Plan, allocate resources and schedule workflows.
• Direct reports of ~30 staff including managers and supervisors.
• Drive efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure health & safety and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate maintenance planning with external providers.
• Produce operational reports and liaise with internal departments.
