Job summary

Well Pharmacy is seeking an Area Operations Manager to lead performance and development across 15-20 pharmacies in the North East region. You will build high-performing teams, drive KPI achievement and ensure patient safety while delivering outstanding community care.

You will report to the Senior/Regional Operations Manager and work closely with local healthcare partners to align with NHS standards and company objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in field or multi-site management.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and coaching abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities.
• Understanding NHS contractual requirements and GPhC standards.

Responsibilities

• Visit each pharmacy regularly to drive performance and implement actions.
• Drive growth of prescriptions, services and OTC sales within budget.
• Ensure compliance with NHS standards and GPhC regulations.
• Recruit, develop and retain capable teams with coaching and reviews.
• Build relationships with local healthcare partners.
