Job summary

Wye Valley NHS Trust is seeking an experienced operational manager to support the Integrated Care division across multiple sites, including community hospitals. The Associate General Manager will work with an established management team and clinical leads to deliver transformational work and ensure we provide the best possible care for our patients.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership, ensuring staff areas are appropriately managed and developed and that they are efficient, effective, engaged and motivated.
Develop and maintain a culture of quality, safety and financial control amongst clinical and non-clinical staff taking collective and individual action when required.
Effectively and sensitively analyse and communicate highly complex and/or contentious information to the multi-disciplinary team, gaining their co-operation.
Deliver the service objectives in line with commissioned activity, budgeted income and financial frameworks, demonstrating continuous improvement in quality standards.
Chair and lead meetings with areas of responsibility associated with performance and developments.
Work closely with the General Manager and Associate Chief Operating Officer on the review and updates to the relevant policies and changes in government directives.
