Job summary

Bodycote is seeking a Regional Maintenance Engineering Manager to lead engineering performance across multiple UK sites. You will own asset reliability, preventative maintenance, and engineering standards while developing teams and driving improvements across operations.

The role focuses on reducing downtime, improving maintenance adherence, and eliminating repeat equipment failures through data-driven leadership and collaboration with General Managers and site teams.

Qualifications

• Proven multi-site engineering leadership in manufacturing or similar settings.
• Strong technical background in mechanical/electrical/industrial engineering.
• IOSH Managing Safely and/or NEBOSH General Certificate preferred.
• Experience managing engineering budgets, resources and external contractors.
• Leadership skills with ability to develop and retain teams.
• Commercial awareness and ability to use data to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering performance across multiple UK sites, ensuring safe and reliable operations.
• Own asset reliability, preventative maintenance, and engineering standards.
• Develop and mentor site engineering teams and drive continuous improvement.
• Reduce downtime and improve planned maintenance adherence across sites.
