Job summary

Westgate Healthcare, based in Borehamwood, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to lead HR administration and ensure compliance across Head Office and nine homes. You will own onboarding, pre-employment checks, contracts and payroll elements, while partnering with recruitment and Home Managers to keep new starters moving smoothly through to day one.

This role requires strong attention to detail, working knowledge of UK employment law, and the ability to travel to various sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in Senior HR Assistant or HR Officer role.
• Proven ability to manage HR administration across multiple sites.
• Knowledge of UK employment law including right to work, DBS and data protection.
• Travel regularly to various homes/sites.
• Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in HR processes.

Responsibilities

• Own HR administration and compliance across Head Office and nine homes.
• Set standards across the group: training, guiding Home Administrators, and auditing HR compliance.
• Sign-off authority on pre-employment checks, offer letters, contracts, leavers and payroll elements.
• Collaborate with recruitment team and Home Managers to ensure smooth onboarding across the group.
• Contribute to board HR reporting and improve HR systems and processes behind HR administration.
