Job summary

Euro Commercials is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to develop and drive the Safety Management System across three South West sites. You will lead compliance, audits, risk assessments, training and incident investigations to promote a strong safety culture.

The role covers Avonmouth, Highbridge and Exeter depots with reporting to the Aftersales Director. A NEBOSH certificate and full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH National General Certificate (minimum).
• Demonstrable experience in a Health & Safety management role.
• Strong working knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and accident investigations.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Strong organisational and report-writing abilities.
• Willingness to travel regularly between all three sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain Health & Safety management systems across Avonmouth, Highbridge and Exeter.
• Conduct site inspections and audits in all three locations.
• Carry out risk assessments and maintain COSHH considerations.
• Lead incident investigations and preventive actions.
• Coordinate Health & Safety training, toolbox talks and inductions.
• Support fire and emergency preparedness and environmental responsibilities.
• Maintain reporting, documentation and KPI visibility for senior management.
