Job summary

CV Technical in Gloucester is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to own safety, health and environmental standards across two manufacturing sites with regular travel to a second site in the Midlands/South West. You will champion a proactive safety culture and lead investigations and audits.

The role requires NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and a minimum of 3 years in HSE management, with strong leadership and communication skills to influence across all levels of the organisation.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Occupational Safety qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in HSE management or supervision.
• Experience with ISO 45001 or similar safety management systems.
• Experience conducting internal audits and supporting external audits.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading and improving safety management systems in line with ISO 45001.
• Managing incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
• Undertaking regular internal safety audits and supporting external audits.
• Maintaining site risk assessments, safety procedures and manuals.
• Providing day-to-day HSE support to site management and employees.
• Overseeing contractor safety management and compliance with legislation.
