Job summary

Voyage Education Partnership is seeking a Health, Safety and Compliance Officer to turn policy into practical, site-wide safety practices. You’ll inspect across our sites, support risk assessments and investigations, and help improve compliance systems.

You will contribute to fire safety initiatives and risk assessment reviews, ensuring actions are completed and documentation remains up to date. A proactive, coordinated approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a good understanding of health and safety and compliance.
• Experience across education, estates or audits is valued.
• Ability to work across multiple sites and manage priorities.
• Full UK driving licence and access to suitable transport.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned health, safety and compliance inspections across Trust sites.
• Support risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Lead accident, incident and near-miss investigations.
• Monitor statutory compliance and track open actions.
• Coordinate health and safety training and briefings.
• Maintain compliance records, dashboards and action trackers.
• Assist with fire safety activities and fire risk assessments where trained.
