Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Compliance and Health & Safety Officer to join the Sustainability and Compliance Team in Chesterfield. The role offers multi-site exposure, audits, incident investigations, and development of compliance documentation, with travel across the UK as needed and a company van provided.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented and capable of communicating with colleagues at all levels.

Qualifications

• Interest in Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental compliance.
• Willingness to learn basic Health & Safety and Environmental requirements.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage varied workload.
• Strong communication skills with colleagues at all levels.
• Keen eye for detail to maintain records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support and conduct audits in line with ISO standards and company policies.
• Accurately record findings and help identify corrective actions and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in communicating compliance requirements and guidance to teams.
• Support Health & Safety risk assessments and compliance inspections.
• Assist with incident investigations and follow-up actions.
• Help develop and maintain compliance procedures and documentation.
• Support the compliance improvement plan focusing on H&S, Quality, and Environmental objectives.
• Assist with rollout and ongoing improvement of the Compliance Management Platform.
