Job summary

Net Zero Careers Accelerator is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to maintain communal gardens across multiple housing sites. The role involves outdoor manual work, operating grass cutting machinery, pruning and general landscaping, with travel between Dagenham, Haywards Heath, Slough and Watford.

A full UK manual driving licence is required; you must be physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather.
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel between sites across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out communal grounds maintenance to a high standard across multiple sites.
• Operate grass cutting machinery, strimmers and hedge cutters safely.
• Carry out grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting, pruning and general garden maintenance.
• Maintain flower beds, shrubs and planted areas.
• Carry out weed control where required; spraying experience desirable.
• Complete litter picking and keep areas clean and presentable.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and wear PPE.
