Job summary

GoodPeople is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative in Edenbridge and surrounding areas. This outdoor role requires physical fitness and the ability to work in all weather conditions, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts).

A full UK manual driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK are essential. Salary from £27,352 per annum with a company pension, a company vehicle during working hours, free parking, and a referral programme.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds or garden maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to operate grass cutting machinery, strimmers, and hedge cutters.

Responsibilities

• Carry out communal grounds maintenance to a high standard across multiple sites.
• Operate grass cutting machinery, strimmers and hedge cutters safely and effectively.
• Carry out grass cutting, hedge trimming, pruning and general garden maintenance.
• Maintain flower beds, shrubs and planted areas.
• Apply weed control treatments (spraying experience preferred).
• Complete litter picking and keep communal areas clean and presentable.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and use PPE correctly.
• Work efficiently as part of a team to complete scheduled work.

hardworking and reliable Grounds Maintenance Operative

Edenbridge and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out communal grounds maintenance to a high standard across multiple sites
• Operate grass cutting machinery, strimmers and hedge cutters safely and effectively
• Carry out grass cutting, hedge trimming, pruning and general garden maintenance

Requirements

• Previous grounds maintenance or garden maintenance experience preferred
• Experience with grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting, pruning and general landscaping
• Spraying experience is desirable
• Full UK

• over 21 years of age (fleet insurance requirement)
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team
