Job summary

Job Advert in Stevenage is seeking an experienced Supply Planning Manager to oversee supply and production planning across multiple sites and external partners. You will translate demand forecasts into achievable production plans, manage stock and material availability, and ensure customer requirements are met.

This role offers ownership of planning processes and the opportunity to make a real impact on operational performance as the business continues to grow.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply planning, production planning or manufacturing planning.
• Experience within FMCG, food, beverage or a similar fast-moving environment is advantageous.
• Understanding of capacity planning, inventory, material requirements and lead times.
• Experience planning across multiple sites, production lines or external manufacturing partners.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP/MRP or planning systems.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, commercially aware approach, with the confidence to take ownership and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage supply and production planning across multiple sites and external manufacturing partners.
• Translate demand forecasts into achievable production plans.
• Balance customer requirements, stock levels, material availability and manufacturing capacity.
• Monitor forecasts and identify potential supply risks or production delays.
• Coordinate capacity planning and ensure materials are available when needed.
• Analyse planning performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain accurate planning data and make effective use of ERP/MRP systems.
• Improve planning processes, reporting and systems.
• Work with internal teams and external partners to maintain service levels.
