Job summary

Stannah in Andover is seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance across multiple sites, supporting refurbishment projects and ensuring buildings, equipment, and site infrastructure are maintained to a high standard.

The role runs Monday to Thursday 08:00–16:45 and Friday 08:00–13:00, with a call-out rota for emergency maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance and building upkeep is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel between sites.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Experience in plumbing, decorating, refurbishment or related trades is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
• Utilise mobile devices and systems to manage and complete tasks within timescales.
• Support refurbishment, installation and improvement projects for building fabric and facilities upgrades.
• Participate in the emergency call-out rota and respond to maintenance issues.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and documented in compliance with health and safety requirements.
