Job summary

Hazlewoods is seeking a Facilities Assistant to join our Facilities Team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. Based at our offices across Cheltenham, Bristol, Cardiff and Swindon, you’ll help keep buildings safe, professional and running smoothly for colleagues and visitors alike.

You’ll assist with office moves, maintenance coordination, health and safety checks, and contractor management, while providing excellent customer service and ensuring compliance across sites.

Responsibilities

• Support office moves, re-desking projects and workplace improvements.
• Carry out the daily mail run between Cheltenham offices.
• Assist with building maintenance, cleaning, catering and stock management.
• Conduct DSE assessments (training provided).
• Support health and safety compliance across sites.
• Act as Fire Marshal and First Aider (training provided).
• Carry out regular building inspections and report issues.
• Manage employee access through door entry system.
• Maintain facilities records, maintenance schedules and compliance checks.
• Obtain contractor quotations and coordinate maintenance work.
• Escort contractors on site.
• Provide excellent customer service to colleagues across the business.
