Job summary

Astute People is partnering with a major UK energy infrastructure business to appoint an Operations Compliance Manager (Portfolio HSEQ Manager). You will develop and embed fleet-wide compliance systems, governance frameworks and ISO standards to support growth across the portfolio.

The role reports to the senior leadership team and drives a culture of continuous improvement in Quality, Health & Safety and Asset Management. Hybrid working is expected, with site visits across operational locations.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading compliance, HSEQ or governance in heavy engineering or process industries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and embed the portfolio-wide compliance, governance and assurance framework across operational sites.
• Lead ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 55001 implementations and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure environmental permits, legislation and regulations are met with audit readiness.
• Conduct compliance audits, identify risks and drive corrective actions across the portfolio.
• Create policies, risk assessments and safe systems of work to support safe operations.
• Promote a strong compliance culture with Operations, Engineering and Asset Management teams.
