Job summary

Sphere Solutions is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our central London building services team. This resilience role involves traveling between Zones 1 and 2 to support sites as needed, delivering day-to-day servicing and planned maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems.

You will fault-find, adjust plant, and maintain accurate records while working safely and inducting subcontractors. A strong customer-facing ethos is essential.

Qualifications

• Solid technical background in building services engineering; mechanical or electrical qualified.
• Experience with HVAC and water treatment is a plus.
• Clear communicator, both spoken and written, with a solution-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out day-to-day servicing of electrical infrastructure and breakdown maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
• Delivering planned preventative maintenance and responding to faults within agreed service levels.
• Fault finding, plant adjustments, and inspections of electrical services, plant and systems to contract specification.
• Working safely at all times, following safe systems of work, and inducting sub-contractors for safe work.
• Handling reactive and additional works to required engineering standards.
• Writing up technical incident reports and maintaining accurate worksheets and maintenance records.
• Stepping in to support or cover for your supervisor when required.
