Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer to cover a London-wide portfolio, delivering planned, reactive and minor electrical maintenance across sites. You will ensure safety, quality and customer service at all times.

The role requires NICEIC Test & Inspection qualification and City & Guilds / equivalent engineering qualifications, with experience in building maintenance. A customer-focused, proactive communicator is essential.

Qualifications

Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent).
City & Guilds 2391 Electrical Testing & Inspection or equivalent.
NICEIC Test & Inspection qualification is essential.
Experience in general and minor building maintenance.
Strong knowledge of health & safety compliance.
Experience with RAMS, PTW and Safe Systems of Work.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Commercial awareness and cost management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Deliver planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.
Complete accurate Site Visit Reports (SVRs) and daily feedback.
Act as point of contact for clients and ensure excellent service.
Work with scheduling teams to deliver PPM and reactive works to KPIs/SLAs.
Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety and Safe Systems of Work including PTW and RAMS.
Identify and manage minor works and additional opportunities.
Liaise with subcontractors and specialist contractors as required.
Assist with overseeing visiting specialist teams.
Monitor costs and ensure efficient delivery.
Provide cover for the Supervisor when required.
Participate in a 24-hour call-out rota.
