South West Norse, Exeter County Hall, is seeking an Area Cleaning Supervisor for a part-time role (30 hours/week, Mon–Fri, 6 hours/day). The position pays £16.18 per hour, with a pro rata salary around £33,648.45 based on a 40-hour week.

You will support the Area Manager, recruit and develop staff, and ensure site cleanliness and safety standards. The role involves managing cleaning contracts, engaging with client partners, and maintaining service levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial cleaning environment with supervisory duties.
• Proven ability to manage, lead and supervise staff across multiple sites.
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues and clients.
• Knowledge of health and safety in a cleaning environment.

Responsabilités

• Support the Area Manager and recruit/develop staff across sites.
• Review operational performance against the expected hygiene levels.
• Undertake cleaning duties.
• Engage with client partners to develop relationships.
• Ensure understanding of service levels and provide solutions when not delivered.
