Norse Group LTD requires a Cleaning Site Supervisor for County Hall Norwich. Part-time role (20 hours/week, Mon-Fri 16:00-20:00) based at County Hall Norwich, supporting the Cleaning Manager and senior cleaners to maintain high standards of cleanliness, service, safety and client satisfaction.

The role involves day-to-day supervision of cleaning operations, coordinating with the client, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Police vetting is required for this position.

Qualifikationen

• Previous supervising or leading teams.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to successfully complete police vetting clearance requirements.

Aufgaben

• Operational Management: Manage daily staff attendance and sign-in procedures; Allocate work areas and duties to cleaning staff; Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks; Monitor cleaning standards and take corrective actions; Raise and monitor work orders; Coordinate hospitality clearances and returns.
• People Management: Supervise, support and motivate Senior Cleaners and Cleaning Operatives; Manage sickness absence procedures and return-to-work interviews; Support recruitment activities and onboarding; Deliver inductions, toolbox talks and on-the-job training.
• Administration: Prepare, print, laminate and distribute notices; Check and submit timesheets on time; Assist with stock control and ordering; Attend regular team meetings and provide updates.
• Health, Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures; Follow safe working practices; Ensure adherence to COSHH, Risk Assessments and Method Statements; Report accidents, incidents, hazards and near misses promptly.
