Job summary

Strachan & Kemp Facilities Services is seeking an experienced Soft Services Operation Manager to lead the delivery of our commercial cleaning contracts across Scotland. The role will involve regular travel between client sites, requiring strong leadership and hands-on management of cleaning operatives and supervisors.

You will maintain service standards, manage staffing levels, carry out site inspections and audits, and ensure contracts are delivered within specification and budget.

Qualifications

• Experience in Cleaning Manager, Area Cleaning Manager or Contract Manager roles.
• Experience managing commercial cleaning contracts across multiple locations.
• Strong people-management and leadership skills.
• Experience with COSHH, audits and quality inspections.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of commercial cleaning contracts across multiple client sites.
• Lead and manage cleaning supervisors and operatives.
• Ensure staffing levels and cover for holidays, sickness and absence.
